We are a private netork of Global Digital Nomads. Purpose of our platform is to connect Digital Nomads based on matching interest, goals, skills, country or citizenship. Secondly, we have a mission to find remote jobs, gigs and projects for our members. For this reason, we collect your personal information. We are not in a business of selling, renting or leasing your personal information. Lets us explain you in detail on what personal information we collect. You will be happy to read that everything is collected is for you matching with other members, finding you opportunities and getting you a date.

Digital Nomads Nation (“DNN”, “we”, “us”, "platform", or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to your use of the DNN platform located at https://digitalnomadsnation.org on all platforms (the “Website”).

DNN is currently an unregistered entity and therefore not a direct subject to the laws of any nation tho as a closed community, we are highly respect & committed to provide the privacy to you and your data. This Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose information. Some nations may not offer a level of privacy protection as great as that offered in other jurisdictions. In jurisdictions where we are subject to different or more restrictive local laws, we may adjust our practices in those jurisdictions to comply with local laws. Otherwise, we make no representation that the practices described in this Policy are compliant with laws of any jurisdiction that apply to the collection, security, use, and disclosure of information. Information that is collected or stored may, subject to applicable law, be disclosed or transferred to any jurisdiction. When information is transferred, it will be handled in accordance with the applicable laws.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

DNN collects two kinds of information about you: (a) personally identifiable information; and (b) non-personally identifiable information.

  • Personally Identifiable Information We collect

    Personally identifiable information is information that identifies you or another person. When you engage in certain activities and features on the Website, we may ask you to provide certain personal information about yourself, including:

    Personal Profile: Email, Age, Profile picture, goal, current city (IP) & citizenship, device info

    We ask this data to connect you with other members based on your goal, country or citizenship It also helps members to message you which we notify you on your email. Email is used to create your unique account, send you email, Picture is used to know who you are, other members feel comfortable engaging with you as well.

    Work Profile: Skills, Education, Experience, rate, Preferences

    We ask this information to match you with remote jobs, projects and gigs. Your goals preferences, content, allow lets us help to connect with other members with similar goals or send you content which is highly helpful for you next goal.

    Dating Profile: Age, gender, marital status, number of kids, interests, hobbies, personal pictures

    Digital Nomad dating feature let the members browse other members profile (if enabled, you can totally turn off your dating profile). To make a perfect match we like to ask you this information, members will review profile and send a message for friendship or dating. After all love is not that blind.

    (3)payment information - *currently we do not process payments. When we do we will use a payment processors who will collect your credit card, address and phone number as this is the requirement by banks and anti-money laundering laws of almost all the countries to process money.

You may decline to provide personally identifiable information through the Website. Our system would not work without the information.We do not sell, rent or lease your information in any capacity but we would respect your concern of privacy. You can request to delete your data and close your account by going to Profile settings and make this request. information we ask you to provide is mandatory. If you decline to provide the concent, you may not be able to use the platform due to engineering. We are extremely sorry for this.

  • Non-Personally Identifiable Information. Non-personally identifiable information is information that does not identify you or another person. Non-personally identifiable information includes: (i) session and usage data; (ii) log data; and (iii) aggregate information.
  • Session and Usage Data. Session and usage data is information about your use of the Website, without limitation, connection and service-related data submitted to us through the use of the Website. Session and usage data includes information relating to the connection request, server communication, and data sharing, including: network measurements; quality of service; time and date of the use of the Website; and upon your consent, your location. Session and usage data does not include any personally identifiable information nor does it include content you may transmit or share through the use of the Website (such as name, address, and calendar appointments).

  • Use of cookies. We use cookies which are tiny files downloaded to your browsers which store all your data described in the policy. This is the industry standard and unfortunately cannot be disabled. If you like to disabled cookies you can clean your broswer but it will be downloaded again on your next visit. Right to be forgotten

Under GDPR, each of our members or subscribers in the EU has the right to erasure (or the right to be forgotten), meaning they can contact us to request and ask to delete all of your personal data from our systems. You can delete all their personally identifiable data by clicking a link "request to delete account". It could take up to 28 days before we completely delete your Personal data.

You can request to get a copy of your own personally identifiable information we have. We are a tiny team so it could take upto 3 weeks to process your request and send your data on email

Our Website is not directed to persons under the age of 13.
