Forty years traveling, five permanent residencies, seven flags firmly planted, >120 countries visited, and I've chosen Andalucia in Spain for my current chapter, for all the reasons you mention. I burnt out on Asia & South America for now, but not counting it out for later on. Africa is still to be explored but friends in Morocco say how good it is. But right now, there are places in Europe (the place I left in 1991) that are coming really good.
