**How to get safe drinking water for 9 months South America trip? **
(Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador & Colombia)
I'm mostly planning to stay around big cities, but also more rural ones and some hiking. I just want clean tap water.
I was considering buying one of these water filter bottles:
- LifeStraw Go 2-Stage Filtration Water Bottle
- Katadyn BeFree Water Filter Bottle
- Brita Fill and Go Water Bottle
Are any of these water filter bottles good? Have you tried them?
I'm not planning to drink water from lakes and stuff, but just use it for tap water.
Or should I just drink the tap water since I'm staying for 9 months, to get used to the bacteria? I want to taste the street food anyway?
