Peru. Not that I wasn't excited for it but I was told I'd hate Lima, for example, and that Cusco was boring. The opposite was true for me. I loved Lima and Cusco was a blast as well. So glad my expectations were shown to be wrong because it's now in my favorite country list.

Budapest (Hungary) didn't expect much, but the city is very beautiful. Nice places to hangout and for quite low prices.Tenerife (Spain), as I've been to many places before in Spain, I thought it would be pretty similar, but how wrong I was. Very well organized and great nature and people.
