Any suggestions for a VPN to make it look like I'm in the United States to my employer when I am actually abroad? I plan to get a Skyroam mobile hotspot when I get ready to travel.

My advice would be not to lie to your employer. And they may have legal reasons why their employees need to reside within the US, which your actions could put them in danger of breaching.Besides that I mean, c'mon, is that really the type of relationship you want to have with your employer??

Aside from potential issues with securing data, there may be tax implications for your employer. Beyond all of that, you’re asking for advice on how to get away with lying to your employer, which is a huge integrity issue.

I’m an ExpressVPN user but I wouldn’t use it to try to fool my employers. That kind of thing is very difficult to pull off and tbh would just not sit right with me anyway because it would mean that I don’t trust them, and they couldn’t trust me. Not the kind of relationship I’d want with my coworkers!
