For those of you who are single, do you ever look for a travel partner to do your nomading with? Not a current friend / existing relationship but a “fab stranger” so to speak - from this group or other online community? Being single, living alone, working for yourself AND travelling alone seems isolating to me.😅

For me it's the opposite: I chose to be single, live and work alone and, specially, travel alone. I'd not travel even with a friend even if he pay everything 😅

I never understood how people can feel lonely as a nomad. I have a family and I feel lonelier now than I did when I was single and childless.When I was single and childless I'd spend the whole day out and about meeting a bunch of new people each time.Now? It's home with the family.Single life and traveling alone and working for yourself most definitely does not have to mean lonely. I mean it obviously depends where you are and how friendly the people are but generally speaking? I've never had any issues meeting a bunch of new people.

I joined a dating app for travelers. Maybe I'll get lucky and meet someone somewhere in the world. For now it's fine being solo, I make friends easy.

When I travel alone, I meet a whole bunch of people. If you want to be alone you can be, but if you don't, plenty of other folks who want to be social. Never been a problem.
