Hi guys, what do you believe it a great online business to start up right now? I currently teach English online and I do really enjoy it but the market is very saturated right now. I do enjoy helping and talking to people. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Firstly I'd say you should differentiate between a business and a job ;) Teaching (or programming, or copywritting, or doing marketing...) is a job. A remote job, a freelance job, but just a job - as you exchange time by money at a rate.In the opposite, a business is something that you work on to build and, once built, it generates money but not at a rate in exchange for your hours. I'm stating this because the advice will be very different if you're interested in building a business or you're asking for different, less crowed remote jobs.

There is no simple solution, although many fake gurus will sell you that. Where do you live? What can you add? My wife and I live in Mexico and own properties here. We also manage other rental properties, do grocery delivery, rent beach gear, etc. We sell tourist merch through our distributors in China through local vendors here. I provide corporate consulting work as well, by writing corporate documents required by US law. I'm constantly trying to figure out how to take the files I had from my corporate life and creating an income stream from them. Online teaching was great a few years ago, but things change year to year so it's important to have several income sources. Don't search for the easy solution from someone else. Do the hard work yourself. Expecting someone else to tell you how to make money is not the answer. Good luck, amigo.

Tom, in my opinion, asking « what could I do to make enough money to live ? » is the wrong question.The one which will help you better to find your answers is :- what I like to do ?- what I like to share ?- what makes me so happy that I’m ok to go out of bed in the morning for it ?- what are the things which make ME and how to share them ?- what I want to share to the world ?On other terms, there is a plenty of answers possible, but you’re the only one who can answer.I’m making between 200 and 400$ per hour by teaching. But the heart of it is not HOW I do it, the heart of it is that what I’m sharing with the world is exactly who I’m... everything come in line once you find how to share this things that makes you unique, this things that only you can share
