There was a discussion here a few weeks ago about whether it is fair or unfair for Bali to impose stricter rules on digital nomads going forward.

I keep hearing about this kind of irresponsible behaviour by influencer nomads who in their desire to one-up the other influencers on their social channels (he says entertainment, but for many it's followers and money), completely ignore their impact on local communities.

Who's in the right here? Should digital nomads be allowed to do whatever they can afford/desire? Or are governments doing the right thing by stamping out behaviour that is detrimental to the social fabric of their communities?
