Anybody have any experience with medical tourism?For example, I’ve heard that Turkey has good dentists and low prices. Has anybody tried that?How would you find a good dentist? I could also pay for a dentist in an expensive country, I’m just thinking, if you can get the same quality, why not pay less when I’m hopping from country to country anyway?

I went to Turkey for eye surgery - Lasik - in 2012, because they are far ahead of Denmark and for a third of the price I got my eyes fixed AND a weeks vacation. They weren't very gentle or smiling, but they were exceptionally skilled and professional :)They said it would last 5 years and it's just now, 9 years later that I start having issues again.

We had an incredible experience with a dentist in Istanbul. Pulled my tooth for about $40. Told me that a new porcelain tooth would be about $100. Office was spic and span, I could have eaten off the floor.

My aunt is a dentist in Alanya, Turkey. They have a pretty big organization for medical tourism. They pick up people from the airport, take them to their hotel, get their teeth done in my aunt’s clinic and then help them have an enjoyable holiday in the great beach town of Alanya. They mostly have patients from Norway, UK, Denmark, Netherlands and Germany. They also offer flexible payment options such as paying in installments. DM me and i can get you in contact with them. I wouldn't be getting any treatment in Turkey. They've got a very bad reputation for being cheap for a reason. So far 5 Brits have died in a year. 3 from botched dental treatment and 2 for a botched butt lift!
