Hi Digital Nomads, me and my boyfriend are planning our future, in about 5 year we want to live in a country in Latin America, preferably one where the climate is good, warm temperature between 15 and 30 degrees during the year. And a stable economy and minimal corruption. So basically a country where you can build a future. We want to buy a piece of land and grow there trees and vegetables. Who has recommendations for a country? We were thinking about Uruguay or Paraguay , any experiences?

Love it when Europeans - coming from the countries that instituted colonial practices that gave way to corruption and which have a CO2 per capita footprint often three times as high as most countries in C. & S. America - ask about places where the weather is good and the economies are stable.

I saw the half continent (Brazil, Argentine, Paraguay, Bolivia, Uruguay, Peru, a bit Chile).   My secret tip not many people thinking about is Bolivia.    Because of the mountains, you have in some cities the perfect climate for Europen people.  In Cochabamba, it's the whole year between 20-30 degrees.  Countries like Paraguay are for example far too hot to stay.  //  You don't have typical summer and winter here. You have a dry and rainy season here.    You need only €500 to live per month here, its one of the cheapest countries in S.A.       /// With the exception of 2-3 places it's really safe.  I'm outside the house also in the night without problems. I would not do the same for example in Rio de Janeiro.             Government influence is really small here that was the reason why I am here. I don't have to pay taxes for my online income, Visum was a bit more complex than in Paraguay but still one of the easiest countries.          Food quality is really high here with a lot of markets and fresh fruits and vegetables.  The tropics are only 3h far from here.  So you can only find all tropical fruits.   // Besides Argentine, it's the most diverse country I found (only beaches are missing).  You have cities above the mountains, the mountain for tracking until 6000 m,  flat cities (Tarija) where you can find a great vine region, old tones,  Salar de Uyuni,  Tropical area, Inca Ruins. There is a lot to explore there.     //  Brazilian, Bolivian and maybe Paraguay are the more rebellious cultures in S.A.    If governments make uncomfortable laws, people just ignores them.   So you can live really free and nobody annoys you.        Only if you have to work for a company here the salary is really small.  So it's better to have a online income or opene a own company.          //  I will build a small house in the near of Samaipata.  1 bought 1 hektar for 3000€  some years ago.   And I will create my own energy with solar panels because the conditions is perfect (No institution where you have to register , you can just buy and install).
